Abba Kyari, Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, has tested positive to coronavirus, according to Arise TV, This Day newspaper’s sister company.
Earlier Saharareporters reported that Kyari is sick and exhibiting all known symptoms of the pandemic including serious cough.
The Buhari’s Chief of Staff who is widely believed to have the president’s ears last week returned from two hotbeds of the dreaded disease, Egypt and Germany.
His condition, according to the online news medium sparked fear that members of the Federal Executive Council including his principal, Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo and ministers who have been interacting without maintain social distance with him may have also contracted the virus.
Arise TV however reported that Buhari tested negative to the virus.
