A 10- year-old boy has been rescued from death after suspected ritualists buried him alive in a shrine around Milking Hill at Ngwo in Enugu State.
The boy(pictured) who is believed to be a plantain seller following the discovery of a tray containing plantains near where he was buried alive and covered with sand up to his neck, may have suffered temporary memory loss as he was unable to give his identity when he was evacuated.
However, he vaguely recalled that he was buried about three days before he was rescued.
A Catholic priest, Reverend Father Modestus Chilaka who was involved in the rescue said cases like that are abound in Ngwo community
