President Bola Tinubu has urged Nigerians to rejig their mindset and shun inordinate obsession for money.
Tinubu made this charge, according to a statement his Media and Publicity aide, Ajuri Ngelale released, when he met with the leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, at the State House on Monday.
Quoting the his principal Ngelale said, he expressed displeasure at trolling of the nation by her citizens and Nigerians’ reverential treatment of money.
“Let us dialogue because public condemnation of a nation is not what makes any citizen a good one.
“We must admonish Nigerians to have a change of mindset and not to make money our god or master. I believe we will get to the Promised Land, and Nigeria will flourish,” the President reportedly said.
