Chief Yomi Aliu(SAN), lawyer to Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, aka Sunday Igboho, said the arrest of his client is self-inflicted.
Igboho, who has been the subject of manhunt after the Department of State Security Service, DSS, invaded his Ibadan residence. The secret police killed two occupants, wrecked his posh cars, arrested thirteen persons in the building and went on to declare him wanted.

The separatist leader was arrested in the early hours of Monday in Cotonou, the Benin Republic alongside his wife, Ropo Adeyemo, an apprehension his lawyer, Aliu, blamed on him saying his penchant for talking too much gave his whereabouts away in an interview he granted BBC Yoruba where he denied rumoured released of the agitator.
His word, “It is a lie that Igboho has been released. The claim is farther from the truth. “You know that he has been under watch and he is a suspect who talks too much.
“These telephone clues were used to trail him and he was intercepted in Cotonou.”
