It has emerged that Late Gbemiga Abiodun aka DJ Olu, died alongside another crew member of Davido, one Chime Amaechi, in his car.

Before now, the death of DJ Olu in his BMW car was the one in the news about four days after the demise of another friend of the singer, Tagbo Umeike, in similar circumstance.

But latest report says DJ Olu, who was one of Davido’s disc jockey was found dead alongside, Amaechi, another crew member of the ace singer inside the car on Saturday in a garage on Block B, Banana Island, Lagos.

Punch reports that it gathered from the police that apart from Amaechi’s body found inside the car, substances suspected to be hard drugs were also recovered from it.

“They were found dead in the car and blood was coming out of their noses and mouths. A doctor was also at the scene. Physical examination of the bodies indicated that the victims must have died of an overdose of substances suspected to be hard drugs. The substances were found in the car,” the paper quoted a police source as saying.

In a related development, Davido has dedicated the two awards he won at the 2017 Africa Muzik Magazine Awards & Music Festival (AFRIMMA) to Tagbo and DJ Olu.

The singer shared a photo of the awards and wrote: “One for Olu, One for Tagbo ! Nothing but love , support , and positive energy came from you guys ! Thanks for you guys for keeping me motivated . This is ‘OUR’ Award. Thank you Afrimma ! Thank you Lord.”
