A Chinese national has been arrested over allegation that he raped a woman at a quarry site in the Kobape area of Ogun State.
The suspect is 59-year-old.
According to report, the said rape occurred on January 25, 2026, at the facility located within the area while the suspect was apprehended following a complaint by the victim.
Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Babaseyi Oluseyi, confirmed the arrest of the Chinese national adding that investigation into the rape claim has commenced.
