A Fine Art teacher with Mind Builders School, Omole, Lagos, Chukwu Ndubuisi has been re-arraigned before a Lagos State High Court for allegedly defiling a six-year-old pupil.
Ndubuisi is accused of forcibly “penetrating” his victim on the school premises and infected her with sexually transmitted disease.
The accused, who teaches Fine Art in the school located at Ojodu LCDA, was said to have committed the offence on October 4, 2016.
Early, Ndubusi was arraigned before an Ogudu Magistrates’ Court, which granted him bail but after failing to meet the bail conditions, he was remanded in prison where he spent seven months behind bar.
Consequently, the accused was re-arraigned before a High Court judge, who equally granted him bail.
His case has been reassigned to a fresh judge, S. Ogunsanya, pending the advice of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
