An unidentified pedestrian on Friday was killed in Kaduna State after a commercial vehicle rammed into her when the driver had a seizure while driving and lost consciousness.
The ill-fated vehicle(file image), which had passengers took off from Abubakar Gumi Central Market, and was heading towards Kakuri when the driver had a seizure from Jos Road, and his vehicle rammed into beggars sitting on the pedestrian, about 300 metres away from where he started having the epileptic fit.
Eyewitness said most of the beggars were lucky to have escaped serious injury in the accident that killed one of them, a female beggar.
However, several passengers on board were said to have sustained serious injury and were rushed to hospitals.
