The pictures of the minister of Communication and Digital Economy, Isa Ali Pantami subjecting management staff of the ministry to a physical exercise is causing stir online.
Pantami at the opening of a 2-day retreat for management staff of the Communication and Digital Economy Ministry made the attendees exercised, according to a tweet by the ministry via its twitter handle, @FMoCDENigeria,including pictures of the controversial act.
“STAYING FIT TO DELIVER EFFECTIVE SERVICE! The Honourable Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, @DrIsaPantami demonstrating to management Staff of the Ministry some exercise tips during the ongoing 2-day retreat,” it tweeted.

The tweet sparked reactions with many commentators finding the minister’s action weird.
“@FMoCDENigeria and @DrIsaPantami The least you could do was dress appropriately for such an event, track suit or something. An outdoor location maybe. Wetin Fashola no go see for tollgate,” a twitter user, SMOOTH de’ Medici wrote.
Another, @GiftGifted12 added, “@FMoCDENigeria and @DrIsaPantami Next time Sir, come with your sport wear.”
