The true state of thing as regards whether former leader of National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Alh. Lateef Akinsola (aka Tokyo) in Oyo State is alive or deceased has come up under dispute.
On one hand, Tokyo died in the early hours of Saturday with sympathisers said to have trooped to his Akobo, Ibadan residence on condolence grounds.
However, a contradictory report, out of the Oyo State capital, has it that Tokyo is alive.
In a refutation of the death report, a video of Fuji star, King Wasiu Ayinde in a solo praise of the commercial motor lord dismissing the sad rumour is making the rounds on social media.
It remains to be seen which of the versions in correct.
