The missing corpse of a 63-year-old woman, Olajumoke Julianah Ogunsuyi from morgue has become a source of controversy in some quarters in Ondo State.
Ogunsuyi’s remains was penciled down for burial today, Saturday.
However, the disappearance from the mortuary section of the University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED) Teaching hospital has sparked controversy.
It came to light that her remains was no longer in the morgue when the bereaved family visited the hospital to retrieve the body on Friday.
The situation hit a nerve with the deceased’s family.
However, report said findings revealed late Ogunsuyi’s remains was mistook for that of another deceased earlier released to another family for burial.
It is unknown whether that account assuaged the bad feelings of late Ogunsuyi’s family and settled the matter.
