A hit-and-run driver has killed a staff member of Dangote Refinery identified as Joseph Ameh in Lagos.
Ameh’s death occurred on Thursday at Ibeju Lekki area of the state from an accident.
The accident victim, as per report, was walking along Golf Bustop when a car rammed into him at around 7.00pm.
The driver it was said, saw inside the car that the human damage he caused with the victim lying on the road, increased the car speed and continued his driving.
The reaction made by some eyewitnesses to catch up with him and bring him to justice produced no results, sources said.
It was further gathered that the matter was subsequently brought before the policemen at Elemero Police Station who in turn evacuated the body of the deceased and from it found his Identity Card as staff member of Dangote Refinery.
The police have also launched a manhunt for the killer driver.
