An unnamed aide of David Adeleke better known as Davido is reportedly in police custody for beating up security agencies at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos.

The Nation reports that the singer returned from a foreign trip but trouble erupted at the baggage reclaim area when airport staff attempted to verify whether the tags on singer’s luggage corresponded with the reclaimed luggage.
It said one of Davido’s aides was peeved as a staff was asking him some questions relating to the luggage which was said to be seventeen in number and refused to tender the tags.
Rather, he resorted to abusive words against the staff and became violent hitting the staff and a Customs personnel who rushed to the scene at a point, the report claimed.
It was reported that the aide was later overpowered and arrested while his principal’s luggage was seized.
