The Special Adviser to Governor Akinwunmi Ambode on Commerce, Deji Tinubu, is dead.

Deji was the first cousin of former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed and ex-Chairman of the state Sports Commission. His demise occurred on Thursday at the Retreat of the state executive members and other top government functionaries at Epe area.
Reports say the deceased slumped during a novelty football match involving members of the group, and was rushed to a hospital in the area where he was confirmed dead.
Tributes have been pouring in on social media for the deceased.
