The order by the Chief Magistrate Court in Ikorodu, Lagos State, that Wunmi, the wife of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad, be served notice of the pending DNA test application by substituted means has drawn her lawyer, Taiwo Olawanle’s reaction.
Father to the deceased singer, Joseph, has been casting doubt over the paternity of Liam, the child his late son and his(Mohbad’s) widow have together to the point of instituting a legal action.
The Senior Aloba is seeking the court to compel Wunmi to surrender the one-year old for DNA test.
To that end, and according to a member of the legal team to the Aloba family, Monisola Odumosu, attempts to serve Wunmi the court process twice were in vain.
But in an interview with Punchng, Wunmi’s lawyer, Olawanle, denied knowledge of the court order.
“We don’t have the court order. If we have an order, we will advise her to adhere to it. That is not a problem. But we are not aware of any order. I am just hearing that from you,” the lawyer told the publication.
