Dr Olaniran Balogun of Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun, Ogun State, who is wanted on account that he was in the shameful practice of trading marks for sex in coercive manner has been suspended by the institution.
Balogun, Head of Department (HOD) of Religious Studies in the institution was declared wanted by the Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).
The fugitive’s suspension from work is the subject of a statement his employer’s deputy registrar, media and corporate relations, Gbenga Omilola, released on Sunday.
It related that the management had placed Balogun on interdiction until he cleared himself of all allegations while the vice chancellor, Prof. Oluwole Banjo, had approved the appointment of Dr Kayode Olusanya as the new HOD to replace Balogun.
