Convener of Revolution Now, Omoyele Sowore, has raised the alarm alleging that the Department of State Security Service, DSS, made an attempt on his life on Friday.
On the fateful day, Sowore after he was granted bail was rearrested inside the court by the DSS resulting in a clash between the operatives and his supporters.
The Sahara Reporter publisher in an interview he granted Channels Television, said the motivation behind the brute force used by men of the secret agent to abduct him was to kill him.
He said, “It might be my only word on the record before they kill me; this is an attempt to assassinate me in court. They came with guns and they tried to shoot and they dragged me down in front of a judge after I had been granted bail.”
