One Ebenezer Adedimola has been arrested in Akure, the Ondo State capital in connection with the murder of his girlfriend, Seun Ajila.

The deceased, who was twenty years old and into modelling, was killed in cold blood at her mother’s residence at Ijoka area of Akure on Thursday.
She was reportedly raped and stabbed to death in a covert murder.
Late Seun’s mother, Mrs. Yemisi Ajayi, said the killing has the deceased’s boyfriend, Ebenezer’s DNA written on it, an allegation culminating in his arrest.
According to the State Police Public Relations Officer of the command, Mr. Femi Joseph, “The woman (Mr. Ajayi) said she suspected her deceased daughter’s boyfriend because he had a misunderstanding with her (Seun) recently and in the morning of that day, he called her (Mrs. Ajayi) on the telephone several times to know her whereabouts.
“The mother said the boyfriend probably wanted to know whether she (Ajayi) was not at home in order to go and carry out the dastardly act. However, we have commenced investigation into the incident and the perpetrator will be brought to book.”
