The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has reacted to claim that it’s currently recruiting.
A notice tagged, “EFCC Recruitment 2026 Is Now Open,” outlines supposed eligibility requirements, including Nigerian citizenship, age limits, minimum educational qualifications and good character. It also claims that applications are to be submitted strictly online through the EFCC website, www.efcc.gov.ng.
The advert further carries an “Important Notice” section stating that no payments are required, warning applicants to avoid fraudulent links or agents, and advising early submission before a closing date.
Reacting to the purported public notice, the anti-graft agency disowned it.
It described it as fake and warned members of the public to disregard it.
