An ex-banker, Amarah Kennedy, facing prosecution for circulating his ex-lovers’ nude photos has been granted bail.
Kennedy has been in the news for the wrong reason of circulating his estranged lovers, Esther Ogbuji and Adams Kadijal Gbemisola on social media in apparent blackmail.
He was eventually picked up by the police, and consequently arraigned on Wednesday at a Chief Magistrates’ Court, in Ogba, Lagos.
A six counts charge of provocation, unlawful conversion of funds and publication of nudes on social media without the consent of the persons have been slammed on him.
At his arraignment, Magistrate A.O Layinka in her summons directed that the case file be duplicated and sent to the Office of the Directorate of Public Prosecution for legal advice.
She went on to adjourn the case to August 3, 2023 and granted the defendant bail in the sum of N2m with two responsible sureties in like sum.
