The Ogun State Police Command said those behind the gruesome murders of a family of three on New Year day in Ogun State have been arrested.
The victims, a former Central Bank of Nigeria official, Kehinde Fatinoye, his wife, Bukola, and son, Oreoluwa, were murdered in cold blood with their residence at GRA Abeokuta set ablaze.
The slain couple had retired home from the cross-over church service in the early hours of the new year when their killing took place.
Their son, according to common report, was abducted, killed and threw into a river in the metropolis, where his body was found two days later.
Consequently one Felix said to be living with the slain family was arrested for the murder, alongside their driver, simply identified as Lekan.
The latter escaped from detention inducing the police to declare him wanted through publicity industriously circulated.
The long arm of the law seems to have caught up with Lekan, and others involved in the heinous crime, by the sound of a tweet originating from the state Police Public Relations Officer, Oyeyemi Bola.
“All the suspects involved in the killing of the Fatinoye couple and their son on New year’s eve in Abeokuta have been arrested,” Bola tweeted.
