African American in Prison

A former immigration officer in the business of selling sophisticated firearms to bandits has been arrested.

The Federal Capital Territory Police Command made the arrest of the ex-officer whose identity was under wraps by the police.

Speaking to newsmen,
the Officer in Charge of the Anti-Kidnapping Unit, Mustafa Mohammed, said the suspect was dismissed from Immigration Service and caught in the process of selling arms to bandits operating in the Abuja-Kaduna forests.

The arrest Mohammed said, followed a tip-off.

“Acting on intelligence, the command intercepted these guns from a dismissed immigration officer attempting to sell them to bandits terrorising the Abuja-Kaduna forest. The intelligence was received in time, and the arms were intercepted while he was trying to make the delivery,” the cop narrated.
