Former Military Governor of old Oyo State, General Tunji Olurin, is dead.
Report said the deceased passed on Saturday morning at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital(LUTH) after a brief illness at aged 76.
General Olurin served as the Field Commander of the ECOMOG Peace keeping Force in Liberia between 1992 -1993.
Olurin hailed from Ilaro in Ogun State but was old Oyo, which comprised of present Osun State Military administrator between 1985-1988,
He contested Ogun governorship election in 2011 on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP but lost to the then flag-bearer of the All Progressives Congress, Ibikunle Amosun.
