The family of a polytechnic graduate, Emmanuel Solarin, who allegedly committed suicide in the Isara area of Ogun State, has disproved the rumoured manner of his demise.
Instead, the distraught Solarins claimed Emmanuel, who was found dead in his room on December 17, 2022, was murdered and pointed accusing finger at his girlfriend.
The latter the family alleged, was in receipt of some money from the deceased graduate of the Abraham Adesanya ICT Polytechnic, Sapade for safekeeping, and was also caught cheating by him leading up to his end.
The bereaved family are also accusing the police of covering up for late Emmanuel’s girlfriend, who they alleged of poisoning him.
“When we saw the corpse at the mortuary, it looked like he was poisoned. When we were bathing him, his flesh was peeling off. We had to just manage to bury him,” the deceased younger sister, Yinka told Punchng.
