A female beer parlour owner has been assassinated in Ikirun area of Osun State.
The pub operator by the name of Iya Bisola was found dead at her residence around Oke Glo Area, with marks of violence said to be on her body, in token that she was murdered.
“A popular beer parlour vendor, called Iya Bisola, at Station Road, Ikirun, was allegedly strangled to death by unknown person(s). Though the reason for her assassination is yet to be unravelled, our personnel visited the scene of the incident at Oke Glo, Ikirun, before the corpse was evacuated,” the spokesperson for the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in the state, Kehinde Adeleke remarked.
