One Miss Mercy Dauda, a student of Federal Government Science and Technical College (FGSTC), Doma in Nasarawa State, has been declared missing.
Miss Dauda as per Daily Trust has been missing since last Thursday.
The 17-year-old Senior Secondary School, SSS 3 female student was last seen on the fateful day by her class teacher.
The teacher had convinced her parents to allow her attend a Young Catholic Students (YCS) convention at Madonna Girls College, Tudun Kauri, in Lafia LGA, and escorted the teenager to board a tricycle at the Tudun Kauri junction to her destination in Sabon Pegi in Lafia at about 2pm.
“The class teacher, who insisted Mercy attended the conference told us that she was one of the fellowship officials. He begged us that we should not stop her from participating in the conference.
“We have reported the matter to the police. We are praying that God should spare and deliver Mercy wherever she is right now,” the publication quoted the deeply distressed father of the missing student as saying.
