A female student of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi, Naja’atu Salisu, has died in one of the school campus’ bathrooms.
Naja’atu was a 300-level student of computer science.
Report said, the deceased undergraduate had gone to take her bath last Friday morning in preparation to attend the day’s classes.
Her failure to return to the room to dress up in expected time drove her sister to check up on her.
“It happened at Gubi campus of the university. The sister on reaching the bathroom found Naja’atu in an unconscious state and had to raise the alarm.
“She was first rushed to the university’s clinic and later Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital where she was certified dead by medical doctors,” sources narrated.
