The Federal Government has launched investigation into the private jet crash that involved Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu.
The aircraft HS25B belonging to Flint Aero, departed Abuja to Ibadan with 10 passengers including Adelabu and three crew onboard, at 18.41hrs.
The unpleasant twist happened at about 19.21hrs as it crashed short of the runway in Ibadan.
However, all the occupants made their way out safely but the aircraft was damaged.
Emerging report citing the Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau, NSIB’s spokesperson, Tunji Oketumbi, said the remote and immediate causes of the mishap are being looked into.
“Yes. Investigators are on ground at Ibadan. Further details shall be given as they unfold,” Oketumbi told Punchng.
