The Federal Government on Wednesday tweaked its guidelines about the lockdown it imposed on Lagos, Ogun and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
The latest is the third time the government would make a change to the curfew after President Muhammadu Buhari announced it in a live broadcast on Sunday.
Ogun had postponed the commencement of its own to Friday while the federal government reversed itself by giving financial institutions the window to operate skeletally.
In the new guidelines released by Dr Sani Aliyu, during a press conference organised by the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, supermarkets, food stores, pharmacies and markets are exempted from the lockdown, but must operate under strict rules
Aliyu stated that markets selling food would open from 10am to 2pm every other day.
Also, supermarkets and pharmacies are to open from 10am to 4pm every day, but must maintain a high level of hygiene.
