The Federal Government has spoken of its plan to mop up old and obsolete gas cylinders in circulation and its place, shares out brand new ones to users.

The Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Timipre Sylva, disclosed this when he received in audience the executive management of the Nigeria Liquefied Petroleum Gas Association, led by the association’s President, Nuhu Yakubu.

Sylva stated that plans would be realised in no distant time adding that the year 2020 is the year of gas for the nation.

He added that the completion of the Nigerian Gas Flare Commercialisation Programme was at the core of the President Muhammadu Buhari led-administration.
