One of the soldiers killed on Wednesday allegedly by herdsmen at Tunga Daji in Anka Local Government Area of Zamfara State, has been pictured.

The names of the deceased soldiers were yet to be disclosed by the army authority, who confirmed their killings in a statement its Public Relations Director, Texas Chukwu, released saying, “Unfortunately we lost an officer and a soldier during the encounter. The remains of the officer and soldier has been evacuated to Federal Medical Center Gusau.”
One MB MOHAMMED ostensibly a soldier, in a tweet on his twitter handle, @Ganamai, released the picture of one of the deceased.
The tweet: “I lost my brother today while fighting herdsmen in Zamfara state. He’s indeed a valiant, noble and God fearing Soldier, died serving his nation and protecting innocent souls. May Allah have mercy on him and grant him a parmanent place in Jannatul Firdausi, amin.”
