A footballer named Sodiq Adebisi has died during a training session at the Dipo Dina International Stadium, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.
Adebisi, according to report, was in training with some others on Saturday at the aforesaid stadium when he collapsed on the pitch, drawing many people to his side on rescue mission.
It was gathered that in turn, the 34-year-old was rushed to a state hospital in Ijebu-Ode where he was pronounced dead.
Consequently, his corpse was moved to the state mortuary in Ijebu-Ode.
