A childless couple in Lafia, Nasarawa State, Mr. Danladi Funtuwa, 38, and his wife, Salamatu, 31, fell apart after the husband’s best friend, Mr. Francis Kulungu, impregnated the wife.

The estranged couple(pictured) dated for a year before they got married in March 2014, and about four years into their relationship, the marriage was not blessed with child prompting Salamatu to seek help from strange quarter.
She began a secret affairs with Kulungu, an action that scattered her marriage when she was pregnant by him, The Sun reports.
According to the report, Dalandi had gotten wind of his wife and friend’s amorous relationship, and on July 30, 2017 in the middle of the night threatened to kill her if she did not own up.
At knife-point, the report said Salamatu confessed and also broke the news of her pregnancy to him.
The confession torn the couple apart as he sent her packing. Though Kalungu did not deny responsibility for the pregnancy, he has however, left Lafia for Lagos to escape ridicule after he told her to abort it.
But Salamatu who is a tailor, was unbothered by the actions of her estranged husband and that of her lover.
She told the paper that she and Danladi submitted themselves to fertility tests, and the results revealed that he had low sperm count, adding that she is in good financial position to take care of the unborn baby.
According to her, “I will keep the child and train him/her to any level. I have moved on with my life. If the child is a baby boy, I may not remarry but if it is a baby girl, I will definitely remarry someday.”
