A woman simply identified as Precious is on the run after in cahoots with a man killed her friend, Helen Ehianu, and both made away with their victim’s six-month old baby.

The incident happened in Delta State.
Report said Late Helen was suffering from Epilepsy, and under the pretext of taking her to someone, who would help her cure the illness, Precious lured her from her family compound at Ekwuoma, in Ika North East council area to Ogwashi-Uku on March 22.
The duo reportedly met recently.
Late Helen had wanted to drop her baby at home but Precious convinced her to bring her along, saying they would be back in the evening, according to Samuel Ehianu, the deceased elder brother.
Samuel said when their mother called Helen’s phone later in the day, it was her friend that picked it, and she said the deceased had found a trade in Ogwashi-Uku and decided to take up residence in the area.
The distraught brother recounted that subsequently calls made to the phone by their mother on the same day, rang out, prompting the family to launch a massive manhunt for the deceased.
According to him, “It was while we were searching for my sister that we learnt that a corpse was found at Obior. When we got there, we found my sister’s corpse in a pit. She was strangled and her corpse thrown into a pit. The police took her remains to a morgue at Issele-Uku.”
The victim was said to have been strangled, and her legs broken while her assailants fled with her baby in an apparent child traffickers’ act.
