Lagos State Commissioner for Information, Gbenga Omotosho, has shared insight into the nature of COVID-19 cases recorded in the state.

Lagos is the epicentre of coronavirus with almost 2,000 cases.

Omotosho in an interview with Punchng,com said most of the cases in the state were mild, adding that in any case none of its patients had required ventilator.

“Most of the cases we have are mild. If you have a mild case, after say 12 to 13 days of treatment, it should clear off. The health commissioner even said none of our patients needed a ventilator and that is because people report early. Those who died did not report early,” the commissioner told the paper.
