The Chairman of Nafada Local Government Area, Gombe State, Musa Abubakar, aka Babawuro, has died in an auto crash along Kano Road.
Abubakar was one of the 11 local council bosses elected under the platform of the All Progressives Congress in December 2020.
The state Governor, Muhammadu Yahaya, in a statement on Monday, expressed sadness at the incident.
“The deceased was a man of peace, a committed politician and an experienced public servant, who contributed immensely to the development of his immediate community, local government and the state,” he stated.
