Delta State governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa has reacted to rumour making the rounds that his alleged mistress, a US based actress swindled him of $10million.
Gov. Okowa on Tuesday shot down the rumour that he laundered the federal government’s bailout fund of $10 million through his mistress, a Nigeria born actress based in the United States of America (USA), who later duped him of the said money.

Speaking to a cross section of the media, the governor said he has no mistress and the story of giving out money to any woman to help him launder was spurious and unfounded.
He said, “I don’t believe in mistresses, I have embraced God over ten years ago, I’m a Christian who do not believe in mistress, the allegation was strictly the handwork of my critics and opposition party members”.
