A graduate of the Federal Polytechnic Nekede in Imo state, Nerus Elemamba, has killed himself.
Nerus’ body as per report, was found dangling in his room on Monday evening in his village in Umuohii, Oboama community in the Ezinihitte Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State.
The deceased 30-year-old was a graduate of Architecture.
The account in general circulation has it that, on the fateful day he was involved in the village’s routine manual labour embarked on by his peers.
Report added that Nerus did not exhibit any symptoms of depression making his suicide shocking to many persons familiar with him.
“In fact he was involved in his peers’ community service on the fateful day and never showed signs of depression all this while which makes the whole thing shocking and unbelievable,” sources said.
