The Adamawa State Police Headquarters, Jimeta, Yola North Local Government Area has come under attack by gunmen.
The latter, according to report, attacked the police headquarters in the early hours of Wednesday sending residents of Yola into panic.
Confirming the incident, the state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Nguroje, said things were under control.
“The attack was repelled, but the identities of those behind it was unknown,” Nguroje told Daily Trust.
