The Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council said it would blame the gruesome killing of Mrs Victoria Chintex, the party’s women leader in Kaduna State, on the state governor, Nasir El-Rufai, as the Chief Security Officer if her killers are not arrested.
Late Chintex was the LP Women leader in the Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State. Gunmen broke into her residence on Monday night and shot her dead, while her widower escaped with gunshot injuries.
The Labour Party presidential campaign council through its spokesperson, Kenneth Okonkwo, said in a tweet that the party would blame el-Rufai for her murder if her killers are not apprehended.
The tweet: “The Labour Party Women Leader in Kaura, Kaduna State, Victoria Chintex, was on Monday, 28th Nov, shot dead by suspected assassins.
“The APC Governor of Kaduna State, El-Rufai, should be held responsible for her death as the CSO if the killers are not apprehended immediately.”
