The Abia State Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate, Prof Uche Ikonne’s death has been attributed to cardiac arrest.
The deceased’s son, Dr Chikezie Uche-Ikonne, in a statement on Wednesday which substance was the announcement of the previous governor hopefuls’ passing away, gave a hint of how it all happened.
He stated that Prof. Ikonne died at the National Hospital Abuja on the fateful day around 4 am, saying: “He was recovering after taking proper treatment in the United Kingdom but relapsed a few days ago leading to multiple cardiac arrests from which he didn’t recover from.”
