Detail has emerged about how self-styled Director-General of fictitious Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council, PFIPC, Adeniyi Adeyemi, was arrested
in a village in Ijesaland area of Osun State.
Adeyemi’s apprehension follows the issuance of a warrant of arrest by Justice Mohammed Umar of the Federal High Court in Abuja after he failed to appear in court for his arraignment.
Report said Adeyemi switched off his mobile phones for about two days, making it difficult to locate him.
Security sources however disclosed that men of the Federal Investigation Department/IRT of the Force Headquarters arrested him at his hideout in a village in Ijesaland.
The team was led by CSP Moses Lohor who previously served as the Commander of the Anti-Kidnapping Squad for the Osun State Police Command and had been involved in high-profile security operations and controversies.
