The Nigerian Air Force while breaking the news of former Chief of Defence Staff,  Retired Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh’s killing has shared an insight into the sad incident.

In a statement the force Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola released, it said late Badeh, who served under ex-President Goodluck Jonathan and until his murder was being tried by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over alleged diversion of funds meant for arms purchase met his death on his way back from his farm.

The statement reads in part: ”It is with a heavy heart that I regretfully announce the unfortunate demise of former Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Alex Sabundu Badeh, who died today, 18 Dec 18, from gunshot wounds sustained when his vehicle was attacked while returning from his farm along Abuja-Keffi Road.”
