Sheik Ahmad Gunmi has shared insider knowledge of how marauding Fulanis determined who they prey on.
Gunmi, an apologist for banditry by Fulanis, in an interview with Vanguard, said the only criteria that makes one a candidate for abduction or murder in the hands of the marauding herdsmen is to live outside the forest.
“These herdsmen are fighting anybody, whether you are Fulani or not. Once you are a town dweller, you are part of the government. You are part of the people that are cheating them. They will fight you,” the controversial cleric said.
He also touched on his school located in the forest saying, “I built a school in the forest. And as of now, I’m taking care of about 600 women, children and men.”
