Peoples Democratic Party, PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has hinted that he lent ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo led-government N300m while both were running the affairs of the country.
Atiku made this sensational claim on Wednesday when he appeared as guest on Meet the candidates, a live televised interview session anchored by popular ace broadcaster, Kadera Ahmed.
The disclosure followed question by Ahmed about the impression in some sections of public that the former Vice President is corruption personified.
“I in particular brought the concept of the EFCC from Brazil. I borrowed them N300 million from the privatization proceeds which they repaid when the budget appropriation was made,” he said.
