Alhaji Jamilu Zanna was until last week Commissioner for Education in Zamfara when he turned in his resignation letter.
Citing reasons he called time on being in Governor Bello Matawalle’s cabinet, Zana listed failure of the governor to check on him or even put in a call to him, while he was indisposed and hospitalised.
“Another reason that made me resign is that, when I was sick and travelled to India for medical treatment for 40 days, the governor never called me to know my condition. So I feel that I can’t serve in his cabinet,” he told newsmen.
