The convener of #RevolutionNow, Omoyele Sowore, and his co-defendant, Olawale Bakare, lodged at five stars hotel, Transcorp Hilton, a night before they were re-arrested by the Department of State Services (DSS), according to their lawyer, Femi Falana.

Sowore and Bakare were earlier released on Thursday but on Friday when they appeared in court were rearrested by the DSS in a manner that drawn the secret agency backlash.
Falana on Monday revealed that on the day the pair were released he lodged them at the Transcorp Hilton with the N100, 000 fine imposed on DSS’s lawyer by the Federal High Court.
He said, “it was the money we used to get an accommodation for them (Sowore and Bakare) in Transcorp Hilton. You know that’s the best hotel in town, I put them there, with the government money,” the human rights lawyer said while speaking in Lagos during the public presentation of the third edition of the ‘Compendium of High profile corruption cases in Nigeria’ published by the Human and Environmental Development Agenda (HEDA) Resource Centre in partnership with the MacArthur Foundation.
