Embattled Edo State governor, Godwin Obaseki, said he will make known his next move after meeting President Muhammadu Buhari.

Obaseki disclosed this via his twitter handle, @GovernorObaseki, saying: “I appreciate the sustained show of solidarity, support and goodwill from Edo People and Nigerians in the face of injustice by the @OfficialAPCNg screening committee. I will be making my next move known after I complete consultations with my supporters and meet with @MBuhari.”
On Sunday, pictures of the governor visiting Governors Nyesom Wike and Emmanuel Udom of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, went viral indicating that he was on his way out of the APC to join the main opposition in order to realise his re-election ambition.
Recall that his bid to seek re-election on the platform his party, the All Progressives Congress, APC, was dealt a blow last Friday following his disqualification by the screening committee on alleged discrepancies in A-level and the discharge certificate the National Youths Service Corps, NYSC, issued him.
