Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has sacked his Chief Press Secretary (CPS), Mr. Idowu Adelusi, for the low media coverage of his unusual presence at the Muslim community Praying Ground, Odo-Ado, Ado-Ekiti.

Fayose had surprisingly turned up at the mosque on Friday for the Eid Prayer wearing turban and dressing like a Sheik.
The pictures of him at the occasion praying with Muslims faithful and holding rosary went viral.
But he was said not to be satisfied with the media coverage, saying it was not extensive and gave Adelusi the boot for not being at the mosque with correspondents of traditional media.
Fayose’s aide on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, announced Adelusi’s sack via a statement read on the state-owned radio station.
Adelusi was said to be surprised by his sack, saying it was not formally communicated to him that the governor was going to be at the mosque.
