The lawmaker representing Kogi West Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Dino Melaye, has accused the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, of planning to inject him to death.
The senator alleged that police operatives meant to carry out the IGP’s order had already been deployed.
“There is a plan by the IGP to arrest me today (Tuesday) and inject me to death. Men deployed already. The Commissioner of Police in Kogi State and others (have been) removed. Nigerians, watch out,” he wrote via his Twitter handle, @dinomelaye.
